The proper mixture of fuel, primary air, and secondary air is vital to the efficiency of
your heating system. The slightest adjustment in the air or fuel mixture can make the
difference between an 81% and 86% AFUE. By performing a combustion analysis we can
determine what adjustments need to be made to both increase the efficiency of your system
as well as improve the life expectancy of your furnace. Combustion analsis can be performed
on furnaces of varying efficiencies and designs.
Signs of improper combustion...
include but are not limited to:
- Rust on or around flue pipe
- Indicators of moisture on or around flue pipe
- Excessive Yellow or oarange flame present.
- Soot deposits around draft hood, in combustion
chambers or on burners.
- Moisture on inside of windows.
Note: Remember, the indicators above are just a few signs, you may have an issue
even when none of the above listed signs are recognizable.
